You can ask us to delete what AshPine holds about you at any time. You don't need to give a reason.
How to ask
- On WhatsApp: send the shop the message delete my data. Your chat goes to a person, who will confirm your request.
- By email: write to ping@knhash.in with the WhatsApp number you message the shop from, so we can find your record.
What happens next
- We confirm the request with you in your WhatsApp chat with the shop, so that nobody can delete someone else's data.
- If you have an order that hasn't reached you yet, we deliver it or cancel it first, as you prefer.
- We delete your data within 30 days, usually much sooner, and tell you when it's done.
What we delete
- Your WhatsApp ID, phone number, username, name and reply language.
- Your saved addresses, delivery phone numbers and location pins.
- Every message between you and the shop, and WhatsApp's delivery reports for them.
- The assistant's records of your chats, and any replies it drafted for the shop.
- Your own words in each order.
What we keep
The shop keeps a record of each order you received: the date, the items, the amounts, and whether it was paid in cash or by UPI. It needs these for its accounts. We remove your name, phone number and address from them, so they no longer identify you. Copies in our hosting provider's routine backups disappear as those backups expire.
What this doesn't delete
Deleting your data from AshPine doesn't delete the chat on your phone, or what WhatsApp itself keeps under WhatsApp's Privacy Policy. If you message the shop again later, we start a new record from that message.
See the privacy policy for everything we keep and why. Questions: ping@knhash.in.
